Tech2reality have many man-years of experience working on hybrid vehicle technology. This started over ten years ago, with a major driveline manufacturer, and includes the MG TF 200 HPD hybrid sportscar, that was launched at the Clean Motorsport event in Birmingham (England), 2003, and the Ultra Low Carbon Car Challenge Rover 25 hybrid vehicle that was sponsored by the UKs Energy Saving Trust, to achieve <100g / km CO2 emissions.

From the start, we developed a strategic direction for our hybrid projects that majored on the customers driving experience, to generate as much marketplace enthusiasm for the product as possible, and hence boost the commercial viability of the project. This included using the technology and vehicle architecture that would create as many customer valued features as possible, and even allow alternative vehicle derivatives to be made, as well as minimising investment.

Through this work we have built up significant experience in the areas of technology, supply chain, commercial issues, funds and grants available, associates skills, etc. We have worked closely with the UK Government and its funding agencies to ensure that our work benefits from maximum commercial reality. At tech2reality, we can now combine our experience with the new developments that we are making in-house, to offer a unique capability that combines high levels of theory and practice.
