• However, the vehicle had to be very simple, robust and inexpensive

• To be cost-effective, the vehicle would need to use components from an existing vehicle
• The supreme off road capability would be delivered by a simple mechanism within the suspension / chassis of the vehicle.
• The vehicles USP was a mechanism to maintain the driver on a level equilibrium, whatever the terrain condition, to give comfort,
  controllability, and hence safety
• The vehicle concept was built up from the
  donor vehicle for demonstration to
  senior management

• The demonstrator vehicle exceeded its
  performance targets, by a large margin
• It was highly praised by all who drove it
• The concept was commercially appraised
  by two global car companies
